Oasis - An amazing experience!

Soft and mellow instrumental gospel music is playing in the background. I lie down with my head on a blanket, rolled up to mimic a pillow and I have a blanket covering my body. I shut my eyes and begin to centre my thoughts on Jehovah. I soon realize my thoughts are awash with the day’s events and thoughts of on-going personal issues. My muscles are very tense and my breathing erratic, which I found surprisingly disturbing.
Then after a short time, I have no idea how long, I realize my thoughts are no longer overwhelming me and my muscles are relaxed and breathing is rhythmic.
I then notice a sweet odour in the air, like one has just finished having a bath with scented soap. I thought maybe someone had just walked in and that the scent was coming from them. The scent disappears and a scripture pops into mind. A whole chapter! At first I ignore it, thinking it’s just me thinking up scripture, but it keeps coming to mind. So I open my eyes and read the chapter. I lie down and close my eyes again.
After a few moments, again I notice the sweet odour in the air. I’m beginning to wonder – is this God? Then after a few moments it disappears and another scripture comes to mind. This time I believe I understand what Jehovah is doing and decide not to fight it and go with the flow. I sit up and read the scripture, The sweet odour in the air and then scripture occurs another two times. I had a total of four scriptures, all of which were whole chapters!
I realize that God was taking me on a journey about my life, relaying and relating scripture to my past, present and future. It was truly an awesome experience and one I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
