Enlarge the place of your tent (Isaiah 54 v 2 and 3)

A Word Over Mosaic Church
Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide,do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
For you will spread out to the east and to the west; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
Isaiah 53 v 2 and 3
1: Enlarge your tent – God has breakthrough for you and the way to do this is to enlarge your tent.
2: Stretch your curtains wide – well if you do this then everyone can see in and see what you’re doing – so it’s kind of an invitation to let lots of people benefit from what we do in the Community.
3: Do not hold back – 2 Corinthians 9 v 7 he who sows sparingly will reap sparingly, but he who sows bountifully will reap bountifully.
4: Lengthen your cords – God is able to do “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or imagine, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20). Expand your vision beyond your own limitations and engage with His Big Dream
5: Strengthen your stakes – that’s the bit about putting infrastructure in place to meet the needs of everyone who comes across the threshold of our church.
6: For you shall expand to the east and the west – the Hebrew word for expand means breakthrough – break forth, burst out, go to a larger place. We are going east with Mosaic at Grace Academy, but what does the west hold for us?
7: The last section is about inheritance, the inheritance of the earth was always ours we simply have to step in and claim it for us and our children. So Coventry, a dry weary barren place is our inheritance, it’s time to claim and water it, isn’t it? Let’s show the people of Coventry Christ’s love really looks like.
Let’s look forward to a day when “being sent to Coventry” is a blessing rather than a curse!
